Welcome to the website!  Boat-shift.com is a boat and yacht transport company based near Dover, Kent.  We specialise in the transport of yachts and motorcruisers around the U.K, France and Spain by road.  We have specialist trailers that have all the necessary supports to safely carry most hull shapes.  The trailers are capable of a 31 Ton gross weight, carrying boats of up to 18 tons, so we can carry most types of boat.  We also have 4x4 vehicles to tow smaller boats that are on their own trailers (Up to 3.5T) and our own twin axle trailer, carrying up to 2400Kgs, and 24ft.  One careful and experienced driver will be with your vessel  throughout the transport operation, to ensure safe loading of your vessel onto the trailer and to take care right through the transportation process.

We can also offer boat repair and maintenance services, as we have a fully trained Volvo Penta engineer.  We also offer services to prepare boats and yachts for transport,with experience in electrics and electronics, and would be more than happy to discuss any requirements.  If required, we are happy to move boats and yachts once in the water to the berth.  We are able to rig and de-rig boats ready for transport, and can offer a shrink wrap service to add protection during transit.

With boat-shift you are guaranteed of a personal, high quality service tailored to your needs.  We can simply carry out boat transport, or arrange the full package of lifting onto and off of transport.  We keep in contact with the owner and departure or arrival points as necessary throughout the trip to ensure that the process is completed smoothly, with no time delays.  We also work together with many boat sales companies and dealers.
